What is this book about?
Katniss Everdeen, girl on fire, has survived, even though her home has been destroyed. Gale has escaped. Katniss's family is safe. Peeta has been captured by the Capitol. District 13 really does exist. There are rebels. There are new leaders. A revolution is unfolding.
A short review:
Again, I loved every page of this book.
As with the previous book, we again get to see more of the other districts and meet more interesting characters.
What I especially liked:
I especially loved how this book handles the reality of war and the heavy subject of trauma.
What I didn’t particularly like:
As with the previous book in the series, the only thing I didn’t care for was the love triangle.
